Shinya is the head of Ascent Equity Partners’ Japan office. He is also the Chief Strategy Officer at SheepMedical, a Japan-based leading clear aligner. Formerly, Shinya was with Jefferies IBD, CITIC Capital, Macquarie Group, and Daiwa Securities SMBC, where he advised and participated in a number of Japanese and cross border transactions.

Shinya received a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Keio University.
