Hoonsup Shin is a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer of Ascent Equity Partners. Prior to joining Ascent Equity Partners, Mr. Shin worked at Kim & Chang where he advised on numerous M&A transactions and capital markets projects. He was recognized as a "Highly Regarded" legal professional in the Capital Markets: Equity practice area by IFLR1000 in 2023.

Mr. Shin received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics at Seoul National University. He was admitted to the Korean Bar in 2006 and also was a Visiting Jurist at the UCLA School of Law.
